Julia Crossland Art is committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of visitors to this website and subscribers to the newsletter. Here you will find information on how I treat data that is collected from visitors to this website, or when somebody subscribes to the newsletter.
VISITORS TO MY WEBSITE
When someone visits www.juliacrossland.co.uk I use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. This is for information purposes only, such as finding out the number of visitors to the site. This information is only processed in a way that does not identify anyone. I do not make and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting this website.
If I do wish to collect personally identifiable information through this webiste I will be up front and open about this, and I will make it clear when I am intending to collect personal information, and will explain what I am going to do with it.
MAILING LIST
I would like to be able to send you news, offers and information about my work through my newsletter which goes by the name 'Art Bulletin'. I may also wish to inform you about workshops or teaching opportunities that I may be offering. To do this, I will need some personal information from you - your name and your email address. I will use this data to send you emails about my artwork, offers, blog posts, events I am hosting, and other relevant information that I feel would be of interest to you. I may also contact you to check that the information I hold about you is correct, and to check that you are happy to continue to receive content from me.
I will never give, sell, trade or rent your data to any individual, business or organisation.
I use a third party provider, Squarespace, to deliver my newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see the Squarespace privacy policy
You can unsubscribe from my mailing list at any time, by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of my emails. Alternatively you can email me directly and I will remove your details from the list. Your personal details will be kept safely with Squarespace until you choose to unsubscribe so that I am able to fulfill my purpose of sending you the Art Bulletin which you signed up to receive.
CUSTOMERS
Should you wish to contact me through this website using my contact form (for example, to get in touch about a commission enquiry) then I will need some personal information from you in order to send you a reply - your name and your email address. I will use this information to correspond with you.
When you make a purchase through my website, I will need to share your details (ie: your address) with a third party such as courier companies or other postal services. This is to enable them to forward your order to you, and your details will not be used or stored in any other way once this has been achieved.
Your data will not be shared with any other individual, business or organisation.
Any purchase you make from my website is processed through either the third party website Paypal, or Stripe. For more information, please see the Paypal Privacy Notice and the Stripe privacy notice here.
I also keep a log of all orders received for five years (for accountancy purposes).

This privacy notice does not cover the links within this site linking to other websites. Those sites are not governed by this privacy notice and if you do have questions about how a site uses your information you will need to check that site's privacy statement.
